Hollong Ble Sniffer Mac Download

Nov 19, 2014 In mid 2018, Nordic release new Bluetooth LE sniffer firmware - this firmware works way better with Wireshark. As of August 2018 we are only selling Sniffers pre-prorgrammed with Firmware version 2. If you have a firmware V1 (packaging doesn't say firmware V2, or you bought before August 2018) see the previous sections! Jun 27, 2018 ViewTool Hollong BLE Sniffer Support BLE4.0/4.1/4.2 in Windows/Linux/MAC with Wireshark protocol analysis, BLE4.2 MTU 251 in one PDU supported. This page is for the V1 Sniffer firmware only! If you have V2, check the other page - the process has changed between versions. If you are running OS X 10.9 or higher, you can also use the sniffer on OS X using the nrf-ble-sniffer-osx package from Roland King.

The issue is likely to be with the Nordic BLE Sniffer plugin produced by Nordic, you'll have to ask them for support.

Note that as I can't locate the sources for the plugins on the Nordic site, they *might* be committing a GPL violation by distributing the plugins without a) the GPL licence, b) making an offer to make the sources available.The licence in the plugin [download](https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/download_resource/31920/14/87700316) doesn't appear to be GPL compliant, nor mention GPL components.

Update

I've now found the source and the GPL for the plugins in the download, in the sub-zip SnifferAPI.zip.

Apologies to Nordic, they are distributing the sources, under the GPL, but you still need to get support for the plugins from them.

Hollong Bluetooth 4.0/4.1/4.2 BLE Sniffer/Analyzer Driver

(In case HollongOne doesn't working on driver installation correctly, then please try to install this driver manually) It passed Microsoft's driver signature, so it does not need to do manually disable digital driver signature enforcement, verified in Windows 10 version 1903. Always install driver first before install software which may including driver not signed by microsoft, after driver is correctly installed then install software.
